Who is this for?

For people who know their health needs to change, but have not been able to make it happen:

  • Consistency is a struggle. Workouts happen for a few weeks, then fall off.

  • You have goals, but need help with the plan. Strength, body composition, and daily habits need to be addressed together.

  • You want accountability and measurable progress. A weekly appointment, programmed workouts for the rest of the week, and an objective way to track your results.

Griffin Connors, CoGym founder and personal trainer in Durham NC

I studied biochemistry before I became a coach, and I approach coaching like research: establish a baseline, control the environment, and measure results.

After dealing with chronic health issues related to an unhealthy lifestyle, I used strict methodology on myself to optimize my routine.

CoGym is a hybrid of in-person training and online coaching: one session with me each week, programming for the days between, and someone to talk to in person.

The methods are always evolving. What I learn from each client is used to improve how I program and coach.

What it costs.

Coached workouts are $75. Most clients train once a week, which is $295/month. Twice a week is also available for $595/month.

Every plan includes programming for your independent workouts, progress tracking, and communication with your coach throughout the month.

Monthly coaching is also available for $95/month. It includes one session in the studio or over video and programming for your independent workouts throughout the month.

CoGym pricing: $295/month once a week, $595/month twice a week, $95/month for monthly coaching.

Client testimonials.

“Griffin has a real talent for breaking down complex movements, which has completely taken the guesswork out of my sessions. Having that professional guidance on form and technique has turned the gym from an intimidating place into a part of my routine I actually look forward to. If you're looking for someone who provides genuine expertise and the right level of accountability to help you stay consistent, I can’t recommend training with Griffin enough!”

Zach W.

“Griffin was very quick to help me organize my thoughts and realize things I was missing from my form, programming, and recovery. He often showed me new exercises that targeted my weak points and humbled me in a way that I knew I was going to become stronger as a result. I hit all of my strongest lifts of my life while working out with Griffin and that was particularly exciting for me having been previously sidelined by a compression fracture in my lower back.”

Andrew D.

“Griffin is the best personal trainer you could ask for. His specialty equipment is perfect for allowing me to train despite having a chronic medical condition. It’s also a lot of fun talking with him, and he really cares about making sure you’re being holistic about your health. So much more than just showing up for a workout. You won’t be disappointed!”
